It all started...

Writing, drawing, music and creative thinking are my passions. I love the creative process.

I started The JEFFWORKS in 1995, with the goal of consolidating various artistic endeavors and freelance work under one moniker. It's easier to explain what I do and affords the freedom to expand service offerings as opportunities came up.

It's great to watch it grow. Some of my characters have found their way around the world. I've illustrated books. I've put life back into old 8mm films, slides and videos for new audiences. I've written columns and commentaries, encyclopedia entries, music, good news, bad news and everything in between.

A word about music

Music is a vital part of my life. As a kid, I wanted to be that guy on the radio...the DJ. After I actually did that for a while, I found I wanted to be the other guy on the radio. Not the talking guy, but the singing, guitar playing, music writing guy.

I've been writing songs for years now and have had the thrill of playing for audiences all over the place.

Sharing music with others is truly one of life's greatest joys, next to laughter. If you get to share both music and laughter...well, you're just plain flirting with nirvana.

I added music services to The JEFFWORKS a few years ago, and from the one or two gigs to start, it's grown and continues to expand. I'm a BMI registered songwriter and I'm always looking for a new music opportunity.
